Delegates from the EFG National Associations convened in Brussels on 22 and 23 November 2024 for the 85th EFG Council meeting. EFG had the chance to organise the annual meeting at the European Parliament, back-to-back with the advocacy event “Geology for a Safe, Secure and Sustainable Europe”.
Representatives highlighted their associations’ achievements and outlined future plans, fostering collaboration among members and invited guests. The meeting also reviewed progress on the 2024 Action Plans and set priorities for the upcoming year.
A special moment was the re-election of President David Govoni, ensuring continuity in leadership. Congratulations to David and thanks to all participants for a successful gathering!
