On 17 November, 14:00-17-00 CET, we are organising a Masterclass entitled “Lessons and tools to Increase Your Public Affairs Impact”. Participation is possible either onsite in Brussels or online.
The three-hour training will provide scientists with the skills and knowledge you need to be more impactful as individuals and prepare you to assist your organisation in communicating science to non-scientists who are making decisions that impact your sector.

- How to organise and prepare your key messages
- The importance of WIFM
- How not to violate the rule of 3s in communicating
- Tools for building a long-term Public Affairs Strategy
About the trainer:
Maureen Gallagher has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri and undergraduate degrees in aquatic ecology and zoology. She is a 33-year veteran of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service where she has focused on delivering conservation solutions through stakeholder engagement. She comes to EFG through the Senior Executive Service Career Development Program of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
