The International Congress on Geomathematics in Earth & Environmental Sciences (GeoMATES 2027) will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 19 to 21 May 2027.

This congress brings together researchers, practitioners, and academics to explore the application of mathematical, statistical, and computational methods to challenges in earth systems, environmental sciences, and geosciences. GeoMATES provides a forum for the presentation of innovative modelling techniques, quantitative analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches that deepen our understanding of geological and environmental processes.

As a supporting organisation, the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) recognises the value of this event in fostering scientific exchange and advancing quantitative geoscience research.
