The European Federation of Geologists proudly participated in the EU-funded ENGIE project, which aimed at advancing gender equality and diversity within geoscience. One of the project activities was to collaborate with the authors of the amazing booklet GEAS: Women who study the Earth (‘Mujeres que estudian la Tierra’ in its original Spanish title) to produce the booklet in different European languages.
The booklet is written by geologists Rosa María Mateos and Ana Ruiz Constán, and beautifully illustrated by Nívola Uyá. GEAS: Women who study the Earth invites you to meet 12 pioneering women geologists and it is available for free online consultation in English, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
