The European Federation of Geologists (EFG) is once again partnering with GeoTHERM, the world’s leading expo and congress for geothermal energy. The 2027 edition marks the event’s 20th anniversary, and will take place at the Offenburg Exhibition Centre in Germany on 25 and 26 February.
Since its first edition two decades ago, GeoTHERM has grown into one of the leading platforms for the geothermal sector, bringing together international experts, companies and decision-makers from across shallow and deep geothermal energy. The 2026 edition alone attracted around 8,600 trade visitors and 302 exhibiting companies from around the world, and the anniversary edition promises two parallel scientific congresses alongside a large exhibition area, with high-calibre presentations, practical case studies and extensive networking opportunities.
