POLE AVENIA, the French cluster of subsurface industries, is launching eartH2, a new industrial initiative dedicated to subsurface hydrogen.

EartH2 aims to:

  • Bring together actors from industry and research working on subsurface hydrogen keen to work together to spark innovation and the emergence of funded collaborative projects.
  • Promote the contribution of the subsurface to the hydrogen sector as a whole, which is still largely unknown to policy and decision-makers at all levels.

The European Federation of Geologists is represented on the Steering Committee of eartH2 by Executive Director Glen Burridge.
