On 4 and 5 November 2019, the Horizon2020 funded project MinLand held its last Consortium Meeting before the end of the project. This 2-year project has been designed to ensure access to areas with actual or potentially valuable resources for mineral exploration and exploitation activities within the EU.
Kindly hosted by EuroGeoSurveys, the meeting started with the presentation of MinLand by Project Coordinator Ronald Arvidsson from the Geological Survey of Sweden. After this, the work carried out for the project and its achievements was presented and analysed by partners. The European Federation of Geologists (EFG) presented its work for supporting the communication, dissemination and exploitation of the project’s results. The official project video that was produced by EFG was presented to partners and it can be found here.
The second day of the meeting was focused on the final results of the MinLand project. The final work for the MinLand Guidelines for Good Practice aspects, the future of the MinLand Network and the organisation of the MinLand Final Conference was discussed among other matters. The meeting concluded with a General Assembly.
