Legends of Geoscience: submit now your photos to the EAGE/EFG photo contest 2022! 

The 2022 edition of the EAGE/EFG photo contest is now open for entries!

All members of EAGE and EFG’s National Associations are invited to submit their photos under the theme “Legends of Geoscience”.

We encourage you to capture extraordinary actions or aspects in all fields of geoscience. This can be expressed in different ways: legends can be role models or everyday scientists; they can be roles having the potential to go beyond the technical work and achieve a real impact for the advancement of science and society, with a special focus on women in geoscience and young professionals; this can also cover the disciplines themselves as geoscience is a broad, multidisciplinary and ever-evolving world.

You may submit your photos in the following subcategories:

• Geosciences for Society
• Women Geoscientists
• Landscape and Environment
• Geoscientists’ Life

The deadline for submissions is 15 March 2022. 

Great prizes will be awarded for the top 3 photographs. In addition, all submissions which meet the eligibility criteria will be featured in a dedicated StoryMap (check out the 2021 edition here!) and promoted through our social media channels.
