Carbon capture and storage (CCS) are essential technologies to achieving global net zero ambitions, making the cost of deployment increasingly important as the scale and breadth of CCS deployment grows around the world.
Join us for a webinar on May 6th at 08:30 AEST (May 5th at 6.30pm EDT) as Dr. David Kearns, Alex Zapantis and Dr. Julio Friedmann present a report on Technology Readiness and the Costs of CCS as part of the Circular Carbon Economy: Keystone to Global Sustainability series with Columbia University’s SIPA Center on Global Energy Policy. The report surveys the technological readiness of mature and emerging technologies in carbon capture, transport and storage and examines the key drivers of CCS cost.
Presentation of the report will be followed by discussion and an audience Q&A.
