The Congress on Spanish Tourist Caves, a must for professionals in the world of subsurface tourism, celebrates its eighth edition in the Andalusian town of Pulpí. CUEVATUR is the meeting point and exchange of experiences of subsurface tourism professionals, a sector that has become an important sector of sustainable tourism and nature and heritage, as well as a way to revitalize regions, mostly rural, through the use of natural and cultural heritage of our subsoil.
As in previous years, CUEVATUR will be a forum where the latest works, studies and research carried out in Spanish, European and Latin American caves and mines will be exhibited, bringing together a large number of scientists and researchers from the fields of geology, paleontology, archaeology, engineering and tourism, among other disciplines. Therefore, its more than 300 papers, gathered in the Proceedings of the different editions of the Congress held, make up an essential collection for scholars of subsurface tourism.
CUEVATUR is the place for the exchange of experiences and knowledge of the managers of tourist caves and mines, but also the point of reference for those responsible for the opening of new caves for tourist use, because it brings together the leading experts in tourist caves and mines.
