H-NAT Summit 2026

The European Federation of Geologists (EFG) is pleased to support the H-NAT 2026 World Summit as a Media Partner. The summit will bring together experts, policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore the latest developments in natural hydrogen technologies and the transition towards a low-carbon energy future.
- Exploration & Tech Excellence: H-NAT continues to showcase the latest advancements in airborne geophysics, advanced sensors, and basin modeling software that are de-risking the subsurface.
- Stimulated H2: For the first time, a dedicated focus will be placed on the in situ generation of H2, how to select the rock, which fluid to inject, how to produce
- Production and subsurface H2 storage: How to manage an H2 reservoir? Can we image the gas/fluid interface? Are technologies of enhanced fluid recovery necessary?
- Upstream: critical issues of separation and transport, best use of natural H2 depending of its purity?
- Regulatory & Country Initiatives: As nations from France to Australia and Colombia update their mining codes, the “National Regulations & Countries Program” becomes the vital hub for understanding national strategies and securing the “license to operate.”
- The Capital Bridge: Building on the success of the H-NAT Investor Day, the organisers are scaling their financial forums. H-NAT 2026 will connect project developers with the private equity and infrastructure funds ready to bridge the gap between discovery and commercialisation
EFG will be represented by Dr Nikolaos Koukouzas, Coordinator of the EFG Panel of Experts on CCS & Hydrogen Geological Storage, who will present a poster on behalf of the Federation.
As a Media Partner, EFG members can benefit from a discounted registration fee. Members interested in attending are invited to contact EFG for further information on how to access the discount.
