2026 World Conference on Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (WCCUS)

The European Federation of Geologists is proud to serve as a media partner of the World Conference on Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (WCCUS 2026), taking place in Edinburgh, UK, from 21–25 September 2026.
Carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) play a central role in achieving climate neutrality and accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy. WCCUS 2026 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to address scientific, technological, and policy challenges across the CCUS value chain.
The conference organisers are currently inviting abstract submissions. Accepted abstracts will be published open access on EarthDoc, providing global visibility within the CCUS community.
Abstract submission deadline: 1 March 2026.
EFG members receive a 15% discount on registration fees using the code WCCUSEFG15.
For full details and abstract submission, visit the WCCUS 2026 website.
