The European Federation of Geologists (EFG) has submitted a response to the Commission’s call for evidence regarding the Water Resilience Strategy.
Water and aquatic ecosystems are under severe pressure. The European Water Resilience Strategy seeks to develop a comprehensive, multi-annual, cross-sectoral plan with key milestones set for 2030 and 2040. Its objectives are to:
- Make Europe water-resilient, ensuring that water sources are properly managed and scarcity is addressed.
- Strengthen the competitiveness and innovative edge of our water industry and take a circular economy approach.
