The 6th MINEX Europe Mining & Exploration Forum will take place in Tirana, Albania on 5 – 7 July 2022. The Forum is held under the central theme ‘Sustainable mining in Western Balkans and wider Europe’. EFG is a media partner of this event.
MINEX Europe Forum is organised by Advantix Ltd (owner of MINEX Forum trademark) in cooperation with the UK’s Department for International Trade, the British Embassy in Tirana, the National Agency of Natural Resources of Albania, and the International Chamber of Commerce in Albania.
Conducted in English, with simultaneous translation to Albanian, the Forum will address major developments, business, and investment opportunities in Mining and Extractive Industries in the countries of the Western Balkans region and across the European continent. On 5 and 6 July it will be possible to participate in the content-rich programme of keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking events. An onsite exhibition organised alongside the Forum will offer opportunities for presenting products and services to local mining communities.
Key information about MINEX Europe 2022
- The Forum will be held at Maritim Plaza Hotel in Tirana.
- Around 200-250 in-person attendees from the Western Balkans and European countries, Turkey as well as from Canada, USA and Australia are expected.
- Around 40-50 keynote speakers, presenters and panellists will be taking part in the program of theme focused sessions and panel discussions. Presentations will be translated from English and Albanian.
- The hybrid format will enable in-person and remote presentations. All sessions on 5 and 6 July will be broadcasting live on the Forum website. All presented materials and video recordings will be available after the 25th of July.
- An onsite exhibition organised alongside the Forum on 5 & 6 July will offer opportunities for presenting products and services to local mining communities.
- On 7 July international participants will be able to visit local operating mines and exploration sites.

- To submit speaker presentation proposal, please kindly review the agenda and complete speaker form before 25 May.
- To present your projects, products or services at the exhibition organised alongside the Forum, please review terms and submit exhibitor booking form before 20 June.
- To attend the Forum as delegate, please register before 27 June.
