EFG/EAGE Photo Contest winner 2018

Class in the desert (Shahrud Desert, Shahrud, Semnan Province, Iran (2016)) has been selected as the best photo for 2018.

It has been an exciting run for this year’s EAGE/EFG Photo Contest, with 167 photos submitted and over 4600 votes. The 12 finalists represent a range of countries, different fields of activity, with highlights on young professionals and female geoscientists.
