“From the volcano to the Sunset” by Daria Chisari (2º prize, 2016)
For all of the geoscientists out there that love photography, the EFG/EAGE Photo Contest 2018 is now open for entries! This is a great opportunity to promote your photos. The 12 best photos will be showcased at the 80th EAGE Conference & Exhibition 2018, which will be held in Copenhagen (Denmark) from 11 June to 14 June 2018. These 12 selected photos will also be published in a calendar. The theme of the contest is “Geoscientists at work” and it is possible to submit pictures for 5 different categories:
-Education & Training
-Landscape & Environment
-Fieldwork
-Energy
-Women Geoscientists
All EAGE members and members of EFG’s national associations are invited to submit photos. After the submission period all members will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the 12 best pictures on the EAGE website.
The submission deadline is 10 March 2018.
