The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) will hold its 2020 annual conference online from 8 to 11 December. The virtual programme will focus on leveraging the strength of EAGE’s global community to chart new paths for sustainable energy development and continued interest in geosciences.

As a partner association of EAGE, EFG has negotiated a special price for National Association members and European Geologist title holders who would like to attend the event. EFG members can register at the same price as EAGE Green members which corresponds to a discount of approximately 10% compared to the standard registration fee for non-members.

The coordinator of the EFG Panel of Experts on Geothermal Energy, Dr. János Szanyi, will co-host a topic room on 8 December, 17:00-18:00 CET, with Prof. Hadi Hajibeygi (TU Delft) on subsurface energy storage and geothermal energy for the energy transition.
