During the summer Council meeting of the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) held on 13 and 14 June 2015 at Newcastle (UK), Professor Peter Styles was awarded the 2014/2015 Medal of Merit for exceptional and distinguished contributions to the Federation and to the geological profession in Europe.
