Geological Disposal of Radioactive Wastes
PANEL OF EXPERTS
Mission
The Panel supports safe radioactive waste disposal through geoscience, helping stakeholders navigate nuclear energy’s role in a low-carbon future.
The Panel of Experts on Geological Disposal of Radioactive Wastes are aligned with the principal objectives of the European Federation of Geologists and aim to support national decision-making agencies at all levels, communities, and industry supported by robust geoscience.
It is the belief of the Panel that nuclear power will increasingly become a viable option to progress to a low carbon economy and be examined by most governments, the panel will support all stakeholders to access a balanced knowledge resource.
