On April 22 was celebrated around the world a very special day, “Earth Day”, that celebrates the environment and its protection. For this occasion, the March for Science, a series of events across over 500 cities, gathered thousands of people who joined forces to support and highlight the role of Science in society and the importance of public support towards research and innovation.
EFG decided to join the worldwide display of support towards Science by officially endorsing the March for Science that took place in Brussels, capital of Europe, and that gathered around 600 people. EFG therefore joins other leading science organisations in supporting March for Science, such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C or The European Geosciences Union in Vienna.
