The European Federation of Geologists (EFG), in collaboration with the Société Géologique de France, is inviting applications for travel grants to support early-career researchers attending LearnGeo 2026.

Sponsored by the International Union of Geological Sciences, the grants are open to French-speaking postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers. LearnGeo 2026 will take place on 17–18 June 2026 in Pau, France.

Three participants will be selected, each receiving up to €330 to support travel and accommodation costs, while participation in the event itself is free of charge.

The initiative offers an opportunity to engage with geoscience professionals, gain insights into applied careers, and expand professional networks at the European level. Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter, CV, proof of status, and estimated travel costs.

The application deadline is 30 April 2026, with selected applicants to be notified on 15 May 2026.

Applications should be sent to: events@eurogeologists.eu.
