She holds a PhD and lectures at a governmental university in Egypt. Dr Ahmed has collaborated with international organizations such as UNESCO\, DAAD\, IUGS\, and the Smithsonian Science Education Center. \nShe served on the UNESCO Global Geoparks Council (2018–2022) and currently coordinates social media for IUGS-COGE.
