9 panels of experts, 211 experts, 25 National Associations representing together 43677 members… With numbers so high and growing every year, it is safe to say the EFG is constantly busy and 2016 has not been an exception. The task of summarizing our varied activities, ranging from working towards a safer and more sustainable use of the natural environment, to protecting and informing the public, to representing our National Members at international levels, is therefore quite the challenge.

It is nevertheless a priority for the EFG to annually outline our main activities over the past year in an annual report structured according to the seven areas identified in the strategic plan for 2014 to 2017: EFG Members, European Network, Global Network, GeoExpert, Services, Projects and Communication. The 2016’s edition is now available here and will hopefully shed light on our work supporting our European family of 43677 geologists.
