Great minds think alike. The GEC Geotechnics – expo & congress is currently taking place at the Exhibition Center Offenburg, Germany. Just when EFG is launching its new Panel of Expert (PE) on Geotechnics! Coincidence? More like match made in heaven! EFG could not therefore miss this unique opportunity to present its new PE as well as its (many) other activities.

During two days, our booth displays information about its work towards a stronger European family of geologists, its 10 Panels of Experts, with an obvious emphasis on the new exclusive one on Geotechnics. Yesterday, students and young professionals also had the opportunity to attend a presentation given by EFG’s Vice-President Michael Neumann himself. They got to learn more about the professional EurGeol title and about our efforts towards the continual professional development of Geologists as Competent Persons. A unique opportunity during a successful event. And a certainty; when great minds think alike, great things happen!
