EFG welcomes Peter Müller as its new Project Officer
The European family of Geologists is growing! The EFG is indeed very happy to welcome Peter Müller who becomes its new Project Officer.
Peter Müller is a young German geoscientist, born in Hannover. After finishing his undergraduate in Geosciences at the University of Hannover, Germany and his Master degree in Geosciences at the University of Bremen, Germany, Peter then completed his PhD at the University of Bremen and the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT), Bremen, Germany working on stable isotopes in marine carbonates. His dissertation with the title “Impact of environmental conditions on growth and chemical composition of marine Calcifiers in the tropical marine realm” lead him to graduate with the grade “magna cum laude”.
Apart from his very rich education, Peter Müller has also gained highly valuable professional skills from diverse professional experiences, including from his membership in EFG’s Panel of Experts on “Education” and his work for our German member association BDG.
With such a relevant resume, Peter Müller will bring his knowledge, expertise and experience to the EFG, which is very happy to welcome him as its new Project Officer in charge of supporting the Federation with the management of its many and diverse projects.
